Entry-Level Civil Engineer

AKS Engineering & Forestry (AKS) is seeking entry level permanent full time Civil Engineers for our Tualatin and Keizer, Oregon and Vancouver, Washington offices. Project Engineer

AKS has immediate openings for permanent full-time Project Civil Engineers with a minimum of 5 years of experience in all three offices. This position offers significant opportunities for growth. This individual would be responsible for design of site development projects, including residential, industrial, commercial, education, recreational, or public works. Working with the project manager, this individual would be responsible for the project design and development of construction plans, specifications, estimates, and reports, as well as coordinating with jurisdictions and maintaining client relations. Knowledge and familiarity with local codes and agency standards is important. Civil Engineering Design/Drafter

AKS has an immediate opening for a permanent full time Civil Engineering Design/Drafter in all three of our offices. This is an excellent career opportunity for a responsible person with 2+ years of experience in civil engineering drafting and design.  AutoCAD Civil 3D knowledge and familiarity is important.  AS degree in Civil Engineering Technology or equivalent helpful.  Good written and oral communication skills helpful. Land Use Planner (1-3 years of experience)

AKS has a substantial team of land use planners who are actively supporting site development projects. We are looking for a full-time Land Use Planner to join our team in Tualatin to apply land use policy and regulations and manage the preparation of land use entitlements. You would work closely with the Principal Planner and Project Managers. The preferred candidate would be self-motivated and have a background in managing commercial site design, residential subdivision design, roadway design, and public infrastructure design. Knowledge and familiarity with local codes and agency standards is important. Construction Inspector

AKS Engineering & Forestry (AKS) has an immediate opening for a construction inspector for our Tualatin, Oregon office. This is a full-time/part-time or contract position working closely with AKS project managers, project engineers, and project surveyors and coordinating with on-site contractor personnel. The focus of this position is to provide field inspection during construction activities to ensure infrastructure projects are being built according to plans and specifications. The ideal candidate would have 3+ years of experience in the construction/engineering industry, and good written and verbal communication skills.
