Ellsworth Forest Transportation Master Plan

AKS developed a transportation master plan for approximately 5,000 acres of the northern portion of The Nature Conservancy's Ellsworth Forest. The project included developing a harvest unit layout and timber cruising for approximately 250 acres. The project included 9 miles of new forest road, locating harvest settings, delineating cable harvesting and ground based harvesting areas, identifying harvest constraints, and GIS mapping.
