SE 129th Avenue/Mt. Scott Creek Culvert Replacement

AKS provided design and construction services for the replacement of two existing culverts over Mt. Scott Creek. The design featured the installation of a precast concrete bridge. The structure was designed according to Oregon Department of Fish & Wildlife requirements to facilitate migratory fish passage and was designed for a 100-year storm event. AKS worked with environmental subconsultant toassist with wetland delineation, alternatives analysis, natural resource assessment, and permitting. A joint US Army Corps of Engineers/Division of State Lands permit was prepared for impacts to the wetlands and creek. AKS managed the project from initial feasibility through design and permitting, and provided construction support.
