We’re excited that AKS Engineering & Forestry, LLC (AKS) has officially merged with Lancaster Mobley, adding one new office in Portland, OR! This exciting milestone adds Traffic Engineering and Transportation Planning to our suite of services, strengthening our comprehensive approach and providing seamless services from start to finish.

On October 1, 2025, Lancaster Mobley officially joined the AKS team. Founded in 1983 in Portland’s Union Station, Lancaster Mobley has spent over four decades shaping how people move through communities—bringing a multimodal lens to every project and a deep commitment to safe, efficient, and inclusive transportation systems.
Under the leadership of Todd Mobley, the firm has grown from a small traffic engineering practice into a trusted transportation consulting partner known for its collaborative approach, regulatory expertise, and innovative solutions. Their work has helped public agencies and private developers alike navigate complex mobility challenges with clarity and care.
As we integrate Lancaster Mobley’s specialized knowledge into AKS’s multidisciplinary team, we’re excited to offer our clients a more comprehensive suite of services—uniting traffic engineering with land use planning, civil design, and community development.
