Public Works Project Manager

Public works is a rapidly growing segment of work for AKS and we are actively looking for permanent full-time Project Managers to manage this work in all offices. If you are a civil engineer with at least 10 years of experience in public works, you’ll be responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships to position AKS for future work, completing projects on schedule, managing project profitability, managing a civil design team, and coordinating with other in-house disciplines. Depending on your background, projects could include transportation, stormwater, wastewater, and water system projects. With our seller-doer model, you will have an active role in getting new work and leading the design of projects. Project Engineer

AKS has immediate openings for permanent full-time Project Civil Engineers with a minimum of 5 years of experience in all offices. With the wide variety of private and public work AKS performs, this position offers significant opportunities for growth depending on your interests. You would be responsible for design of site development projects, including residential, industrial, commercial, education, recreational, or public works. Working with the project manager, you would be responsible for the project design and development of construction plans, specifications, estimates, and reports, as well as coordinating with jurisdictions and other internal service professionals.
