AKS provided topographic surveying, civil design of field improvements, under-field drainage, and contractor coordination services for the conversion of Lemmons Field’s existing grass field to a synthetic turf field and new field events while protecting the existing track. The improvements and installation of new track and field consisted of approximately 2.36 acres and was completed in 2014.
