To ensure that the growing population of Salem has enough clean drinking water for the future, the City of Salem has invested over $50 million in a new Ozone system and wastewater treatment plant that is scheduled to be operational this summer. AKS has been providing ongoing project management and construction inspection services for the enhancements to the City of Salem’s existing Geren Island Water Treatment Plant for several years.
