Last December, AKS’ staff members volunteered for Habitat for Humanity Portland/Metro East., helping to build the Olin development in North Portland. Most of the homes Habitat builds are single family homes, but the Olin development is a different model. It will provide 12 sustainably built residences in two separate buildings. Each building will contain six, three-bedroom/two bath condos. All of the homes will be sold to families with low incomes who have generational ties to North and Northeast Portland. We are proud of the great work of our volunteers.
