City of Camas Boulder Creek and Jones Creek Watersheds

Collaborating with City staff, AKS prepared a forest management plan for the maintenance of  the City of Camas watersheds. The 1,600-acre Boulder Creek and Jones Creek watersheds supplies water to 22,000 Camas residents. The resulting forest management plan addresses short-, medium-, and long-term plans for the site, with a focus on continued asset protection of timber resources and balancing economic timber harvesting activities with sustainable management practices. As a result of our work, AKS was hired to coordinate the implementation of the plan which has included turbidity monitoring, fish passage design, permitting, and contract oversight.
