AKS provided on-call arborist inspections for multiple pipeline, water treatment facility, tank reservoir, pump station, and river intake projects in Gladstone, West Linn, Lake Oswego, and Tigard. With the project cost set at $249 million for replacing the existing aging infrastructure with an innovative, reliable water system that would also enhance emergency water supply reliability while supplying Lake Oswego and Tigard residents with drinking water, AKS balanced multiple contracts and scopes of work for providing arborist services. The arborist team diagnosed tree health and landscape problems, evaluated hazard trees and assessed tree risk, provided construction monitoring, and recommended tree preservation, protection, and removal.
