AKS is providing final engineering design and landscape architecture services for the first phase of the Port of Kalama’s much-anticipated Spencer Creek Business Park project which includes a roundabout, one mile of roadway improvements, extension of utilities, incorporation of a floodwater evacuation system, and WSDOT lane compliance. The project encompasses 70 acres of land bounded by I-5, Kalama River Road, and Kress Lake, and will eventually accommodate a mixture of commercial, industrial, and retail uses, greatly boosting the economy of this growing area. To gain an accurate picture of the site from a bird’s eye perspective, AKS’ certified drone surveyor captured high-definition videos and photos of the site using our commercial drone.
