The Port of Kalama’s new amphitheater, located in Louis Rasmussen Day Park in Kalama, Washington, was conceived to provide a new venue for community events. To help make the amphitheater a reality, AKS provided permitting, civil engineering, drone surveying, construction staking, construction administration, and landscape architectural services. AKS worked closely with the Port of Kalama, the City of Kalama, and the contractor to meet project goals, successfully address challenges during design and construction, and ensure completion in time for the city’s annual Heritage Festival.
