Portland General Electric plans to construct a six-mile transmission line extending from the Blue Lake Substation to the Gresham Substation, with a new 230-kiloVolt circuit tower line. AKS provided surveying control network services in support of this developing project, including using a combination of conventional and GPS surveying relevant to the current NAD83 network, and construction surveying of the layout for the new poles as well.
